I've been demoing the BC 2.5 w PTHD 10.3.4 and sometimes it works ok and after a while it seems to lose partial connectivity. Then I have to quit BC and PT and relaunch. Some functions I'm learning that I need to do work before I just press a button and expect all my tracks to be renamed (Have the first tracks dialog box open DUH?) But things that work one minute, sometimes dont work a minute later, like Add default EQ to insert A and things like that. It seems kind of flakey, but I like that its making me learn pro tools better. Any ideas would help!

I have been using these BC's for over a year since i got my first raven. I must say i can't work without them now, and I even bring BCer every time i work outside of my studio... There is a little learning curve, but after a couple weeks you will be a pro.. I would recommend going to the newest PT10.3.8/9 update, since maybe this version isn't cooperating... Add plugins is just one tiny thing it could do.. and i don't really use that many plugins so not something I use.. I do like using the "Remove plugins" batch command.. Since that seems to usually make the track sound better when i get them set to me to mix.. HAHA adding plugins youtu.be/5uZ1Q7-cW-8?t=3m42smaking your own chains.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3opCpnIzec&index=4&list=PLpGC3ikrlbL_iF28_X4ATb2PPoMfbECYOOnce you learn how to properly add the plugs ins it will work every time... from the manual AUTOMATICALLY ADDING A PLUGIN CHAIN TO MULTIPLE TRACKS: In the video, we performed the Favorite Plugin Chain 1-5 Batch Command that added five plugins to our selected tracks. We have added six different variations on this video Batch Command including Add Default EQ and Dynamic Chain. It is important to note that users can customize these to be set to any variation of Favorite Plugins and Default plugins and account for Native vs. DSP in the QuickList. To use these Batch Commands, navigate to Layout 3 and utilize the following Batch Commands: To use on of the preset chains, select tracks you wish to add your Favorite 1-5 plugin chain to on the Pro Tools Mix Window and hit Favorite Plugin Chain 1-5 to automatically show only the selected tracks, add Favorite Plugins 1-5 to each one, hide the last plugin window and restore the previous tracks. Note: You must have 5 Favorite Plugins programmed for this to work. Do this my holding the Command Key when initiating a plugin on the Insert Racks. Select a plugin without lifting from the Command key and once selected instead of the plugin appearing, you’ll notice it is at the top of your plugin lists. Note Two: Pro Tools 11 users will have it “Restore Previous Tracks” after performance, however Pro Tools 10 users will Show All Tracks in the session including hidden tracks. You can adjust this by Removing it from the command line if so desired. Note Three: Also, make sure you have your Default EQ and Dynamics chosen in your Pro Tools Mixing Preferences. Note Four: Use Fader focusing Batch Commands to focus the select tracks to add the plug ins to..

Thanks Jameyz, Its nice to have someone respond so quickly. I think I will take the plunge. I spoke to someone at Slate and they told me that they have recording mouse commands working and it will be in a future release. As we all know that could be anywhere from tomorrow to 2 Years from now, but I have faith! Thanks again for the help!
P.S.-I cant understand why you cannot simply copy a Group of Buttons or a single Button from one Preset and Paste it into a New Preset??

Update to the newest Pt10.3.8 there are some issues in older version that can cause some BC's not to work.
