If I been away from my Mac for a little while, the Raven MTi software is not responding. Questions: 1: Is it possible to avoid this (I need a short break from time to time )? 2: Is it possible to "kill" the application and restart? Thanks

Hi Hez, Clicking the RAVEN Icon is the best way to quit the application when it is not responsive. Does this only happen if the computer goes to sleep when you step away? In general when working I would recommend downloading the app Caffeine. It keeps your computer awake when taking breaks, and should help avoid the RAVEN issue.

Trevor - is it just the raven software that stops responding - or is it the actual touch display ?

Hey KJ, The RAVEN Software will occasionally stop responding on some systems after a Mac enters sleep mode. If you experience this please click the RAVEN Icon and force quit. This should have zero effect on your DAW. We are working on a fix.

Trevor - I seem to have another issue. // I've alerted Matt to it via phone - but after extended use - whether or not the raven software is open - the touch screen stops responding - when I open the MultitouchPlatform app to try and recalibrate - The first two crosshairs calibrate fine when touched - but the third disappears quicky and skids to the fourth. - Was trying to hold off on getting a new unit - I truly believe its a software issue with the MTP software - as if I reboot - the software is fine. I am using a 2010 MacPro 8 Core /

Hey KJ,
Are you connected directly to the Computer from the MTi? Things like DVI extenders and USB extenders can cause complications. I would suggest a clean install. Remove Ney-Fi, Multitouch Platform and RAVEN. Re download RAVEN from your slate account and try installing everything. If certain parts of the screen are responding properly and certain are not, which I believe is what you are describing with the recalibration, then that indicates a hardware issue.
Feel free to follow up with me via email.
