I've been following the development of Batch Commander and it looks awesome. The support on this forum and others as well as the videos on Youtube are great. I've learned a lot more about Pro Tools in general by watching how these are made! Keep the great work.
I've seen Key Maestro mentioned here and I use it a good deal. I'm wondering what are the benefits of BC over KM. It seems like KM is a much more flexible. Though there are tons of features I don't use. Obviously BC has tons of Pro Tools specific things already pre-programmed, which is huge! There are loads that I've seen that I hadn't previously thought of but I would use. Of course I can program those into KM on my own, but that is a downside that it is so time consuming.
The customizable buttons are another advantage. KM can already do custom mouse movements but that's coming to BC at some point. I'm just weighing pros and cons and wonder if it would be worth getting batch commander. What say you?

I love key maestro for everyday tedious tasks. But, for pro tools specific actions I can do it all in BCer with no need for KM. We have programmed almost every possible mouse click into BCer for PT so I don't think there is a need to program much more (we are working on a user addition though) but once users make there own clicks, we will be in ale to share BC's with each other since u would have to share the click and the BC. We are adding user request everyday, so if we did miss a mouse click we can add it simply. Then all users can have access to the same clicks.
The good news is u can launch KM apple scripts from batch commands so u don't waste a key command.
