Hi has anyone experienced problems with windows 10 booting with their mti2 connected via HDMI? My new windows 10 machine freezes with the windows loading circle of dots slowing and freezing if the mti2 is connected. Several other different monitors work without problem on the same HDMI port. it seems to lock up windows as it’s booting. Removing the mti2 results in a normal windows 10 boot without pauses/lockups.
Thanks
ed

Thanks ed those circles are touch points being activated, so I don't think it is an HDMI issue./ To me it sounds like a USB power issue. Be sure to plug in direct to the computer in a USB port with enough power for the touch display

Hi Jameyz,
Thanks for your quick reply on this. Sorry, I should have been a little clearer.... the spinning circle is the windows boot progress circle. The computer seems to hang if its booted up with the MTI2 connected via HDMI. I have tried it in a few different usb ports (2 and 3) directly from the back of the computer. The windows event log shows that the device is causing a "win32k" error "A pointer device has no information about the monitor it is attached to" and this seems to be causing a freeze. Unplugging the monitor during startup allows windows to boot. Im going to try connecting via VGA (through a display port>vga adaptor to see if this makes a difference at all). Do you think I should open a support ticket for this?
Thanks,
Ed

We have never seen this issue, so something must be up with the display or the actual settings on the RAVEN display menu. You can access these from the back right of the raven panel.
