Hi, I just received my MTI2 this evening and I'm not having much luck getting it up and running. Apologies if this has already been covered, but I did do a search first before posting. I am using a mid 2012 Mac Pro with 2 mini displayport connectors and a DVI connector. Obviously, that doesn't work with the HDMI or supplied VGA cable. I ran out and bought a mini displayport to HDMI adaptor and that didn't work either. Still a blank screen. I tried various HDMI cables with no difference. When I go into System Prefs and look at the Display settings, the Mac doesn't recognize the MTI. I'm running El Capitan if that matter. Any help would be great! Thanks, Joey

Thanks, Joey How many other displays are you using? have you tried only connecting the Raven display.. Is the LED on the power supply green??? Is there a light showing on the bottom right of the Raven?? Here is the link to start a support ticket for the Raven.. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=61177

Were you able to get this resolved? I am having what sounds like exactly the same issue.

HDMI from a MacBook Pro. 2 MTI2s, but I did try using the faulty one on it’s own, as well as changing out HDMI, and trying VGA. The other one responds exactly as expected, but this one never displays anything. Not even the built in menus. The LED turns green when the MacBook is connected, and the MacBook shows that there is a monitor connected, and extends the desktop, but the display itself never comes up. Like I said, I bought these in a pair, and the other one functions perfectly.

VGA to Minidisplay won't work as VGA is analog.
I think the macbook doesn't want to wake the display for some reason, perhaps try plugging into a different computer or HMDI source to confirm the display is bad. If it doesn't boot we can replace it.

Was there a solution to this? In the same boat. One monitor hooked up mini display to display port. Slate Raven Mti2 hooked up mini display to HDMI. Also tried it as The Raven as the only monitor.
Thanks, Chris
