Hi Jamey,
Not quite sure where to start.
I am completely stumped. Why would my configs for Cubase AND Logic be hosed after using Studio One? It's never happened before.
I'm hoping there is some prefs file that I can delete that will fix this issue.
Thank you for your time (and patience).
PS
V-Control is running and there is only 1 instance of it in Cubase and Logic. UPDD Gestures, Daemon, and TUIO are also running.
Not quite sure where to start.
- I am trying to set up Raven to work with each of my DAWs in a dual screen configuration.
- I had Cubase and Logic working great on dual MTi2s. (So I know it's possible.)
- I then went to set up Studio One. I set it up to support two monitors (even though I can only have macro buttons on one screen at the moment).
- It is not clear to me if S1 supports Spaces or not, so I turned Spaces off in my preferences and logged out and back in.
- I also have UPDD Gestures running with the S1 gpf profile.
- S1 set up and worked fine.
- So I quit S1, turned spaces back on, loaded gestures for Cubase, logged out and back in, restarted Cubase, then started Raven. However, Raven is completely unresponsive in Cubase. Button presses are either not detected or they are way off. Control bars/macro buttons show up on screen 1 only.
- I quit Cubase/Raven, re-ran calibration. The MTi2 screens ARE calibrated and test properly. I restarted Cubase, made sure I had the right key commands loaded, same problem.
- Turned spaces off, logged in and out, restarted Cubase and Raven, no improvement.
- Did the same steps for Logic. Mostly the same problem. However, Logic flashes when I touch parts of the interface in some instances saying "there is no command". I checked and I have the proper Raven key commands loaded.
- I go back to Studio One after all of this (I load the proper gestures) and it works beautifully.
- So after all of that, I reinstalled everything (without uninstalling first). I went through the set up instructions (for Cubase). I went through the set up instructions for dual screen. No change. Cubase and Logic are completely hosed. Studio One works.
