Since traffic seems manageable here, I'm going to create a new thread about the Navpad response.
There are two settings for direction in Raven Settings->navpad response: 'regular' and 'inverted'. There are also settings for 'slow' to 'fast'.
If chosen, the app does not retain the inverted setting for me when a new session is loaded, even if that session was saved with my desired navpad response. In addition, it changes whatever I currently have chosen in that setting (which is always 'inverted') to 'regular' every time I launch the Raven software.
It does however, retain the tracking speed setting, which tells me that the direction problem must be a bug. However, if anyone knows how to get the Raven to retain this setting, I'd be very excited to know the solution!
BTW, the "inverted" setting should really be the default - at least on the Mac where it is known as "natural scrolling", and I would change the names accordingly as well (Make the current 'regular' be called 'inverted', and 'inverted' called 'regular'. After all, the default setting on the mac is natural. It's been the default Mac for so long we're all used to it. PC's may default to a different way of scrolling though, so perhaps it should be different in their Raven software.
I could live this this little bit of cognitive dissonance however if I could set it and forget it.
Thanks to anyone who has thoughts on this.
I'm using DP on Mac OS 10.11.6. Don't know if this problem is also an issue in other Raven versions (such as the Pro Tools version, etc.).
Thanks everyone!
