Hi Jamey... it's still probably a loose nut between the steering wheel and gas pedal but... I opened the gestures PDF and followed the instructions. loaded the DP GP etc. but I am still not getting gestures to work... do I make the settings the same as in the PDF tutorial or does the Raven Gestures for DP exec file set those?
When I checked the status on the UPDD there was 163 days and 93 gestures. What is that about?

Just a thought, the tutorial online waxman posted suggests setting up some specific gestures for Pro Tools... I too, and I'm willing to bet many others are not exactly sure how to set this all up?
Do we simply open the .gpf file in UPDD?
or do we follow the online tutorial?
Banking wise, what are we talking about? the banking buttons on the Slate menu or gestures that were set up by the Raven to bank?
I think all of us would like a more clear path here, it's already confusing enough having all these third party apps with settings that aren't covered in any capacity by Slate. Just wish this was less random in terms of what we should be doing to get it working. I don't think it's clear at all whether the online tutorial is just a guide in case, or do you do both? Off to read more and watch the 3.3 youtube all the way through hoping theres stuff on gestures there...

If just want to use the stock ones. 1. Open UPDD Gestures and add it to the menu bar. 2. Enable Zoom and UPDD in system prefs accessibility. 3. Import the Raven gestures profile for your DAW.

OK I think the confusion comes in here: All the other DAWs have brand spanking new walkthroughs of their Gesture Profiles, DP does not. You point us to a tutorial that has it's own gestures profile, that has key commands for Pro Tools. Searching "gestures" in Support online comes up with this one for my other DAW Ableton Live. This also I suppose means I will be switching between gestures? slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005923968-Ableton-Live-MTi2-Gestures-Expansion-You wrote them even, so you should know why we're wondering what the heck is going on when you point us to a year old set up procedure for setting up your own gestures that has a gestures file at the end. I loaded both, at first the one from the tutorial, then the one for DP. Confusion for sure there.

What gestures aren't working for you??

Thank you for doing a video Jamey!!!! Where is the Video? If you open gestures and go to settings, you can then show Gestures in the Menu Bar. From there you can save and load gestures profiles to easily switch them around. If on DP, use this profile.. Raven Digital Performer Gestures Expansion.gpf (50.87 KB)
