Hi, I am considering buying a stylus to use when editing. Have any one succeeded in programming the bluetooth stylus shortcuts to change controls inside a DAW?
What i would like to do is, buy a stylus with three buttons. 2 that set fade in/out, and 1 that separate region.
Imagine how quick editing would be, just mark a region you want to separate from the track. Click one button on the stylus to separate it, and then use the other two buttons to set fade in/out. And move the region with the pen where ever you want.

Thanks for your feedback Jamey! Do you think it might be possible to program an Adonit Pixel pen to activate batch commands? Or simple shortcuts inside the DAW? They have released an SDK, but the pen is made for iPads.. www.adonit.net/developers/Have you ever used the Samsung Note smartphone and pen? The touchscreen senses the pen, even when its floating above the screen. And you have a shortcut button that opens up a menu on the screen at the pen location. Makes it quick and easy to open up tools. Imagine the same functionality with the Raven! If the raven came with a pen, and you could open up a menu through a shortcut button and choose tools, or for example batch commands. There could be two buttons, one for the menu and one for batch commands. Imagine this sound design tool. You use the pen to mark region you want to separate from the track. And then you push the batch command button on the pen to separate the region at the locators, normalize, add fades. I still do editing with my keyboard and mouse because it goes fast for me. With this type of pen solution i would not need to edit with my keyboard and mouse anymore. SparaSpara
