Just saw the news from NAMM and wanted to say congratulations on the accomplishment of creating what looks to be a terrific new interface and the new smaller mic. I love the idea of having all the knobs on the front. Software input gain control is sometimes clunky and frustrating. And the specs for the VRS8 are amazing. Once again, A Cutting edge big idea from a visionary company. Great job to all the Slate Team. Can't wait to try it out.
Any idea on the shipping date for the Vrs8 and the ML2?
Thanks

I don't think there is a set date yet. But it's gonna be a fun studio piece for sure. I can't wait....

Equally excited to use this unit. I have a few questions and comments:
Will the PCIe card have Mac drivers as well as PC? This would make a lot of legacy Mac users (which are many) quite happy.
What type of software drivers will be used in the VRS-8?
Since there is no digital in and out as often seen in computer audio interfaces, will I be able to use an additional separate audio card such as a Lynx to get in and out of my Mac or PC digitally along with having the VRS-8 active.?
The desired scenario would be to have an active digital out from a separate Lynx AES card, and have the VRS-8 inputs active too.
thx
