Through reading, researching, watching vids and not giving up i can usually get most everything sorted out. But not this one. I've tried everything, for a week now.
I will explain the problem but i'll also do a cut and paste from the other poster because its been covered.
"They work great until I shutdown or restart the computer. After startup, the right screen will not function. I can go through the whole process again.....but the right Raven is simply ignored. This seems to be with both Pro Tools and Raven app running, or just doing routine computer operations in the Mac finder before ever loading a session."
Everything works great until i shutdown and/or restart the mac. Upon restart the UPDD has somehow lost its config that works for both screens? and im left with and same problem as above...
The exact symptom is this:
Upon restart the left screen has touch as normal.
But when you touch the right screen, the touch shows up on the left screen in the same spot.
The only two ways to fix this problem is to reload the original Mti2 Raven software that also has a second part UPDD load. Then everything is back to normal and all is good again. Or.. pull either Mti2 usb and plug it back in. If you do that everything magically goes back to normal? Either way if you shutdown and restart the problem is back everytime. The Raven software seems to be ok its just the UPDD.
This was your answer to the other poster, hoping to get the same. I'm on Logic Pro X, Mac.

I sent you an email.. Sorry for the troubles with the Dual, but this issue is fixed with UPDD V6 touch driver.

Yep! Works like a dream. Thank you! Update....  I installed everything as instructed. and the UPDD dual touchscreen problem is fixed. But... Now when i open the raven software and hit the " Settings" Button and then hit the " Raven Setup" button.... nothing happens. nothing at all. So i end up with no mixer section. So i lost that much needed functionality on the Raven. Never had an issue with it before. All the other buttons in setup work.
"Raven Setup" is no longer triggering anything to happen. |

I sent you an email.. Sorry for the troubles with the Dual, but this issue is fixed with UPDD V6 touch driver. Just an FYi for everyone. The UPPD update will fix the nagging touchscreen problems but it will also take away the ability for the Raven software to set itself up automatically the way it used to. The Setup button will have no function? (why? I thought Raven software and UPDD were separate) jameyz was nice and patient enough to walk me through the steps on how to do it manually. Its really is not that tough, but i do miss skipping a bunch of steps with the touch of a button. That's what this system is all about right? says it should be fixed soon. |

What I sent you was a Beta. So please email me with any problems. If you could let us know when there is a UPDD update that will work the Mti2 touch screens properly and give us back the Raven auto setup that would be great. Thanks |
