Hi Jamey, i'm brand new user on a Mac. When my MTi2 did its automatic setup it allocated the 24 channels and I then removed the two stereo channels per the instructions. I assume that from this point on any new projects started will always have 24 tracks. My question is: when I open up existing Nuendo projects that have lass than 24 tracks for the first time on my Raven they seem to run OK but should I be manually adding the additional tracks to make it 24 even if I may not be using all of them on a particular project.

You should be fine running less the 24 tracks. There is just a weird bug that the first time opening a project you may not see any faders if it is less than 24 tracks. If this occurs just close and reopen the project.
