Hey there,
Just trying to figure all of this out! Its frustrating and exiting all at once.
Is there a way to edit a layout? Meaning can I move individual buttons around or would I have to completely erase the batch command and load up a new one in its place?
Also, is there a way to edit a batch command itself? Meaning, if I wanted to add a few steps in the middle of a command, could I do that or would I have to completely erase the entire command and start over? That seems a bit much considering some commands have hundreds of macros!
Any input on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

If you want to move a batch command, save it to your user quicklist and reload it to another button.
Alternately, you can save the entire panel and then load that panel on another one..

You can load these drive.google.com/open?id=0B4TrvgatB6ZmekRBVFRMekExOUEinto your user quicklist and they will unpack so you can edit the original scripts.

If you send me the 8 panel that you want to make a six, I can edit it for you. But this is some serious programing skills to implement a full on over haul of the BC buttons. I was thinking a cool way would be to Right click a BC and Raven could copy it, then you can paste it to another. I am sure we can do something like this in the future.

hi jameys, okay yes, rigt click ore somthing like copy/paste is a god idea! also right click to select from 8 buttons to 6, 4, ore 2...
when im here to have some wishes ;-) i wish, that some buttons like play, record, stop... i can put alone in the rack... so for me i never use the rewind/forrward buttons... also other multi buttons, to have it alone...

Jamey...
I just bought the MTi2 over the weekend (Black Friday sale at Sweetwater! Yessss...) and have been pouring over the Slate how-to videos to get my head around the Batch Command system. So far so good. Everything makes sense and is intuitive enough that I should be able to resume some of my studio work (in LPX) incorporating the Raven here in the next few days. You guys definitely have a good support system in place for new users. And the Raven and Batch Command software is crazy deep on the features and customization options. Nice.
So all of that being said, I'm having a hard time figuring something out. Is there a way to create/open a blank Batch Command Panel or do I have to overwrite one of the existing panels every time I wish to make a custom panel? I understand that in theory, given that a user can save an infinite number of Raven layouts, there isn't a limit to how many custom panels can be created and saved. However the idea of having to overwrite an existing panel (including the provided handful of 2/4/6/8 button blank panels) every time I want to make a custom panel seems tedious and extra time consuming. Can I just tell the Raven to make me a new blank panel as needed?
I'm likely overlooking something simple here but if you (or anyone else here on the forums) could advise on this it would be much appreciated.
Loving the Raven so far and am excited about the potential of Batch Command system!
Thanks!
Todd

You can't create a blank one, since the layouts are all stacked up with them. There is also a blank default layout with plenty of space for programming.

Is there any news on this? I also wanted to start and setup my own buttons, but still see very few panels on the first layouts in Studio One... is there still no option to ad empty panels or move them from other layouts?
Thanks and Kind regards... HAPPY HOLLIDAYS
