For fear of warranty loss, I don't want to experiment on my MTi2 to figure out what it takes to remove the built in stand. I have asked in a few places with no answer. If anyone can tell me if it's possible, and how to remove the stand from the back of my MTi2 without incident, I'm grateful. Thanks, Shep

If you remove the back panel you should be able to unscrew the stand.

I have tried extensively to get the back plastic cover off (where the vesa mount is). It doesn't slide or unsnap. I'm afraid I'll break it. Am I to remove the entire back panel? I see a small hole with a lock symbol next to it. Is there something I'd need to do with it as well? I would not have thought this to be invasive at all for just a stand, but... Much appreciated
This pic shows the depth of my MOXF8 which is now in front of me. The stand I installed on the desk allows the Raven to come over the board to my mix position, but doesn't drop quite far enough due to the stand hitting the board.

I tried to remove the whole back panel, too. The 5 bottom screws come out, but there must be need for some kind of tool to loose it from the rest of the case. Frustrated.

Hi Shep
What did you eventually do to replace the stand? I am trying to replace mine please, I removed the bottom 5 screws but I'm failing to completely remove the back.

You don't have to remove the stand on the MTI2. Just fold it in and mount the monitor using the built in vesa holes. It takes 10 secs to mount it.
