Jamey can you ask the Raven engineers if it's possible to create some code that would allow certain plugins to be opened on a dual or 3 screen system to a user defined monitor space. Thanks...
Explanation: Right now I am using consolidated windows as a work around but it's not optimal. I have a VI's zone in my workspace. I use BFD3, NI Komplete and Maschine which all have large gui's. Those VI's interfaces I like to keep open all the time during a session. The VI zone is on a monitor to my left that ergonomically lines up with the controller keyboard and Maschine studio controller. The VI's gui's have multiple functions that are for the mostly to small for touch screen requiring a mouse and they have dedicated controls on the hardware controller keyboard or trigger pads.
The problem comes with I open a plug typically used in a mixer... ( fx, dynamics, channel strip ect.) Many of those plugs have large gui's designed for touch. I want those "mixer" plugs to come up on the Raven right in front of me. But those "mixer" plugs come up on the left l where the VI's reside and I have to drag the to the Raven. Or I close the VI zone then it's reversed and I'm dragging VI gui's back to the left monitor when I'm done with the mixer plugs. It's a lot of unnecessary steps.

This is a great idea, I use something similar in Pro Tools to bring plugins to different sides of my dual screens. The hard part of this, it is must be based off the Window number, and if DP can have so many different windows open, that is gonna be hard to say which window number the plugin will be. However I will experiment a bit and see if there is another way.

Thanks Jamey... another for the list now that the programmers have nothing to do... Sometimes I need to open the send mixer for fine level send adjustments. I would like to see that come up on the same space as the floating mixer. I think it's overkill on the big mixer layout. It would be cool if it popped up above the floater like a small inline mixer on an analog board. PS. did you see this? I only have one Raven but 2 are showing in V-Control. Also about in the V-Control says not licensed. Is this correct?

I find this really annoying as well, but this is not really a Raven issue, This is most likely an OS issue, and at least with mac OSX 10.9, it's so buggy that you can't determine where a window will open, it just chooses screens at random. its frustrating to always be beta testing for software developers especially ones as huge as Apple, but that is the reality of our world. The OS should keep windows where you last opened them especially in a saved project, but when opening a new window, the OS should at least give you a default screen, not random locations.

Thanks Jamey... Does it matter which one? What about V-Control prompt not licensed?
