With the latest versions of Cubase and Protools can the mixer be the ONLY item on the MTi2 and the other windows be on the other 2 non-touchscreen monitors? Are there any restrictions to the layout across 1 Raven MTi2 touchscreen and 2 non-touchscreen monitors?

If I understand your question. Pro tools is what I use and I can switch between mix and edit on the raven and other non-raven monitor. Using window configuration in Pro Tools is the way to go. Jamey has a tech tip on it somewhere.

You can use Cubase Workspaces to easily swap around Project and MixConsole windows. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/220305987-Cubase-Mixer-Alignment

Yes, I would like to edit and record on the non-touch screens for now and only use the MTi2 screen for the mixer. Thanks I will try the ProTools window configuration.
