The User BClay for PT11 had some delay times not transfer correctly for add session markers and punch in out markers, and an audio suite plugin was set for PT10 also. Check out the floating window on layout 6 for some of the crazy BC's from the Video BCLAY 1.0.bclay (357.26 KB) Here is a BClay to try out instead and a couple more BC's for users who want to show 15 total inserts. drag the BC files into your user/library/application support/slate media to add to your user library. (don't think import will work just yet) 15 INS NEW BCS.zip (4.64 KB)

Hi Jamiez, I do not have this Path available in my New Mac Pro (Mavericks 10.9.5) , & I need help to find it ? What paths I do Have are these ...., Macintosh HD / Library / Application Support ....................., But no Slate MEDIA Folder - Only a Slate DIGITAL Folder ? This Slate Digital folder contains the following ; - FGX virtual mastering console - Instrument Editor (with some Trigger stuff inside) - Virtual Compressors FG Grey - Virtual Compressors FG Mu - Virtual Compressors FG Red - Virtual Buss Compressor Rack - Virtual lape machines If I look in ......, Macintosh HD / Users / (My NAME) ..............., There is only an empty Applications folder (ie; no application support folder anywhere , or anything mentioning Slate ? ) If I look in ......, Macintosh HD / Users / SHARED + GUEST ....., Reveals nothing even remotely close either If I look in ......, Macintosh HD / System / Library ....................., Still leaves me no clues ? If I look in ......, Macintosh HD / Applications ............................., There is a Slate Digital Folder only (containing 2 folders called "virtual buss Compressors" , and "virtual tape machines") Search in the finder revealed nothing and again ...., Nothing in the manual ( as Usual ) Can you PLEASE help me to locate this folder ..., Ive spent ages on a frustrating wild goose chase looking for it ?

sometimes the user library is hidden. So option click the "Go" menu in finder to bring it up. Then look for the folder

drag the BC files into your user/library/application support/slate media to add to your user library. (don't think import will work just yet) Q - Now that Ive found that "Slate Media" folder ( which is full of many other folders) ...., Is there anywhere in particular INSIDE of the Slate Media folder - that these files must be dragged too ?

(don't think import will work just yet) Thx Jamie , that answers where to put the BC files but doesnt answer about this other link you added ( ie; BCLAY 1.0.bclay (336.96 KB) ) So ..., One last question ..., is this file you also included beant to be dropped into that same "Batch" / Pro tools 11 / etc FOLDER as the BC files ? ...., because this ; BCLAY 1.0.bclay (336.96 KB) - is showing up as a document ( and I cant open it to see what it is ?)

Bclay is a Ravlay for batch command . It's just an update to the current default Bclay. just open it up from the settings button on BCsr Please take no offence Jamie , as none is intended what so ever ..., But IMHO - you may as well write your instructions in Chinese Jamie ...., Ive just spent (another) hour trying to work out what the hell BCsr is, Without having a PHD in mind reading and Slate secret Codes and abbreviations , or 12 months of previous Raven use up my sleeve - I have no Idea what your talking about The efforts I have taken to TRY to follow your directions are ...............,
- Multiple forum questions raised . - I have scoured BOTH manuals looking for anything remotely to do with BCsr ..., and as usual, with the manual there is nothing ! - Im guessing (why is it - I have to keep guessing with the Raven ? ) that BCsr might mean "batch Commands Slate Raven ? ..., who knows ? - I open pro tools , then raven , click on settings in the raven ...., and nothing - just a button called switch raven > ahhh maybe sr" means that, as there is nothing else here about what Jamie is talking about > wrong! - keep guessing ? - Open panel 3 (ie; empty BC Buttons page) hold an empty button till BC edit window opens >>> nope , no clues here either ..., check upper taskbar while this window is open, as Raven is now listed >>> nope again nothing ? ...., see how inconclusive & incomplete instructions can cause someone to go on a wild goose chase that takes hours , and the manual is no better either. ( I bought the raven to increase workflow , but instead - its crippling it ) Like I said earlier.., please take no offence at my constructive criticism, I know you guys are busy, but so are we ..., and IMHO , I think theres a massive room for improvement needed in the Ravens entire instruction / tuition process. ..., I just wanted to point out a New USERS perspective to you guys highlighting difficulties and frustrations that New USERS have to go through before they can be masters at the Raven...., but thats going to be a long hard slog when we are crippled in the starting blocks. We shouldn't have to be going through all this "trial and error" guesswork. Please - It takes hardly any extra effort on your part guys - to be more specific and descriptive with your explanations - which would totally avoid a new user from going through all of the above and more. ...., especially when the manuals for the Raven are so vaguely written with the huge chunks of important information missing from them ..., (honestly , it's one of the most incomplete software manuals Ive ever encountered) Oh yeah ...., What , and where is BCsr settings again ..., so I can open the ; BCLAY 1.0.bclay (357.26 KB) ?

BCsr is an abbreviation for Batch Commander. I meant to put BCer but auto correct did something weird.
also these updates are for Batch commander not for raven..
we have a new manual in the works coming up tmw.
Pm me your skype info and I will get U up and running ASAP.
as far as having to Find the sub folders, that is just a work around until we get the import feature fixed, hopefully by tmw..
peace
